Chandler Park is 192 acres of wooded area that will please your mind with its natural beauty and mesmerizing panoramic views of Tulsa and Sand Springs. This park has many facilities to accommodate many activities. A large green space is available for festivals, concerts, and special events. Located at 6500 W. 21st St. Tulsa, Oklahoma, this park is a great choice for people of all ages to enjoy their weekend doing physical activities or picnics.
Chandler Park opens from 7am – 11 pm every day. However, the park will be closed on holidays. Here’s a list of holidays when the park will be closed:

The community center has its own operating hours. It opens at 11 AM to 8 PM from Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 11 AM to 6 PM on Wednesday and Friday, 10 AM to 3 PM on Saturday. The center is closed on Sunday.
Entrance ticket & other fees
Good news! If you’re visiting Tulsa, you can enjoy your leisure time in Chandler Park without having to pay any entrance fee because it’s free for both main park and to use the Splash Park. However, you will have to pay fees if you want to use other facilities. If you want to rent a shelter, you will have to pay $50 for the first 3 hours, then $15 for each additional hour. The shelters are available to use from 8 AM – 11 PM, 7 days a week. If you go to the park at dusk, you may see more of Tulsa’s wildlife there.
There are many activities that you can do in Chandler Park. You can do sport activities such as baseball, basketball, camps, disc golf, fitness, pickleball, and running/walking. There are rock formations particularly designed for rock climbing and trails as well.
You can use the community center also. It includes gymnasium with bleacher seating as well as rooms for special events. The center accommodates youth sports and spring/summer youth camps.
Moreover, there are many special events held by the park you could participate. There are baby and kid events such as “Just 4 Tots” and “Easter Eggstravaganza”. For preschoolers, they can participate in “Toddler Time”. For youths there are events such as “A.S.A.P” (After School Activities Program), Spring Youth Baseball League, and Spring Break Day Camp. Adults can participate in events such as “Third Friday Golden Get-Togethers” which only people who are 55 or older can join. In addition, there are many other fun events for all ages such as “Lights on the Hill” in which you can enjoy bright and beautiful view of Christmas light displays in Tulsa. Chandler Park provides many facilities that accommodates a broad range of activities. The park is currently undergoing major renovations. They are adding some more facilities including outdoor basketball courts and lighted beach volleyball courts.
Fun fact! Their Splash Park is the biggest one in Oklahoma. There are 2 shaded picnic pavilions that is open for public. If you’d like, you can bring your own small tent! However, the Splash Park will not be open if there’s thunder, lightning, rain or storms in the area so you better check your weather app before going there.
