visit a museum ship This was a very interesting visit,a ship like I served on in the Navy. The ship is being restored. and soon will go to dry dock to bring her back in shape. She will then go to Jacksonville Fl .

Excellent Hands On History I went to visit this Destroyer while in Lake Charles. The ship was built in 1945. It served in the Korean War and the Vietnam war. I had the ship mainly to myself since it was during the week.
