It’s a gavel Yea a silver gavelwhat else can you say. Wow granted it’s huge. But it’s a gavel. Not art work. It’s a gavel .

Great piece- great location It was a chilly but clear day when we went to the Supreme Court building and we visited the park, We saw the gavel on our way to the Court and again after.

Construction continues... I’m sure it’s a peaceful and lovely spot overlooking the river but it’s still totally fenced off and the fountain is drained.
